Woodguard is an Oil Based, EPA Registered
Wood Preservative and Log Home Finish. Woodguard penetrates deep into the
wood to provide long term protection from Termites, Powder Post Beetles,
Mold and Mildew. The product is safe to use according to directions,
is easy to apply with Sprayer, Roller or Brush and cleans up with
detergent and water. Woodguard is available in six log home tints including
Honey Base, Honey 2000, Warm Pecan, Tawny Cypress, Dark Walnut, and Iron

Corn-cob
blasting - The process of blowing grit from finely ground corn cores (cobs)
through a high volume, low pressure commercial grade blasting system to
remove finishes and mildew from log surfaces.
Why we cob blast!
Performance - Corn media is abrasive enough to remove even old, difficult
finishes and mildew, yet gentle to the logs. Typically categorized
as a "soft abrasive". Environmentally Friendly - Corn-cob blasting is safe.
The corn media is non-toxic and completely biodegradable. In fact
the left overs are excellent garden mulch!
Weather - If you
live in the Midwest you know that it changes every 5 minutes. With
cob-blasting the logs are dry and ready to receive the final prep and stain
right away. Homes can be stripped and cleaned earlier in the season
and in almost any condition, giving you a beautiful home much sooner. |
